Looking south towards a south summit
This picture looks to the South, towards the path I had hoped
to take to the summit in the photo, then possibly along the ridge
to a higher summit to the West (right). Just below the center of the
picture you can see the band of snow that stopped my progress.
I was very disappointed to have made it so near to the top and be stopped,
but I was weak by now and therefore decided that the prudent decision would be
to not try to cross the snow and risk a slip.
